I bought 2 of these power strips for use with a charging station I was designing for our electronic devices and was pleased to find that they have 1 extra outlet on each side of the strip for a total of seven outlets per strip. The side outlets allow for different shaped transformers without tying up two plugins. It has a toggle for the on/off switch and a protected and grounded indicator light so you know when the unit is on or off. It is a little bulky, but it is not a factor for where I am using it. I haven't had the power surge portion tested, so I don't know if it will protect my devices, but as a multiple outlet power strip it is suiting my needs very well.

A very good product well engineered. At a glance you can see if it is working correctly. The 2 lights on this let you know it is good and still protecting your equipment. If it fails Tripp Lite will replace it at no charge --- What's not to like !!!
